Chicken & Lamb Mandi in Darwin

Mandi is slow-cooked meat over long-grain rice that soaks up the spices and the juices as it cooks. We make it in sizes from a single serve to a platter for a whole table.

For one person, a quarter chicken mandi is a full meal. Half and whole chicken mandi suit couples and families, and our lamb shank mandi is the one to order when you want something richer.

For gatherings we cook lamb shoulder and whole lamb leg mandi platters, served on a bed of rice big enough to share. They are popular for Eid, family dinners and as the centrepiece of a catering order.
