Everything we cook at Sister's Kitchen BD is halal, so there is nothing to check and nothing to ask about. We are a family kitchen in Darwin cooking Bangladeshi and Arabic food in small batches, to order.
Finding halal food in Darwin that tastes like home cooking rather than a food court is harder than it should be. That is the gap we started cooking for.
Our regulars order mutton kacchi biryani, chicken and lamb mandi, polau, and snacks like chicken samosas and spring rolls. For dessert we make traditional Bengali mishti: roshgulla, chamcham, roshmalai, sandesh and malai chop.
Because we cook to order, each dish shows its pickup date and the last time we can take an order. Pre-order online, we confirm with you, and you collect it fresh. If you have a question about any ingredient, ask us when you order and we will tell you exactly what goes in it.
